The white birch trees make a beautiful harmony with the leaves on the ends of its branches dyed in red and yellow, and in the winter, it offers exotic scenery covered in snow. Just looking at birch trees is beautiful. How about adding various sculptures to the beautiful trees and taking a photo of yourself with the trees and nature to leave lasting memories? Like the floral language of the birch tree ‘Waiting for you’, the birch tree forest looks like it is always waiting for us.

There is a place in Inje known for taking beautiful landscape photos. It is a place called the Secret Garden located in Gapdun-ri, Inje. The reason why this place became a secret garden is because it was a military zone and was closed to the general public. It may be my personal opinion, but I think that it was named the Secret Garden not only because it was not accesible by the general public, but also because of its mystical appearance hidden in the fog.

Go to Gombaeryeong, a bucket list destination, and take a perfect photo. Gombaeryeong was designated as a UNESCO forest genetic resource reserve. Though it wishes to show more people its beautiful scenery, Gombaeryeong restricts the period and number of people for admissions in order to maintain its primeval and natural views. It is a magical garden that is sometimes inaccessible. There are not many days when you can visit Gombaeryeong, so if you are planning to make a visit, make a reservation first.

Inje-gun is filled with clean forests and is nicknamed the ‘lungs of Korea’. Bangtaesan was selected as one of the top 100 mountains of Korea by the Korea Forest Service and it offers beautiful sceneries in all seasons thanks to its deep canyons and waterfalls. Furthermore, it has many trees as it is the biggest natural forest in Korea, and the forests are thick and the rivers never run dry, making it a clean forest with rare plants and fish.

Take a trip to the ‘Living Natural History Museum’ in Inje. The reason why Daemsan Yongneup Swamp is called this is because it was the first Ramsar wetland of Korea. The Ramsar Convention is an environmental agreement aimed at protecting wetlands with high ecological, social, economic and cultural value. In order to get to the Daemsan Yongneup Swamp, which has such great value, reservations are required.
